Crawfordsville, Ind - Lyle Galey, 65 of Lake Holiday Crawfordsville, Ind and the Casey/Martinsville area died at 1 am. May 29, 2004 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Harvest Fellowship Church with Rev. Glen McFarland officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today. The Hunt & Son Funeral Home in Crawfordsville is in charge of arrangements. He was born June 28, 1939 in Martinsville, son of Roy and Evelyn Kendal Galey. He married Marie Snedeker in 1961; she survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Laura Welcher of Lake Holiday, Ind Mealnie Galegor of Statten Island, NY; three brothers, David Kendall of Martinsville, Walter Galey of Tucson, Ariz and Kenneth Galey of Baltimore, Md a sister, Sarah Smith of Kae Holiday, Ind. Five grandchildren. Mr. Galey was a retired supervisor from RR Donnelley. He was an Army veteran and attended the Harvest Fellowship Church.
